Acid rain project case files, <1983-1987>.

The Bureau of Forest Development is responsible for management, reforestation, and development of forests and other wooded areas under state control, and for monitoring those in private hands. As part of this responsibility, the bureau surveyed Massachusetts forest lands jointly with the U.S. Soil Conservation Service to determine effects of acid rain, creating these project case files.
